Round 2 of the MKRC Championship fell on a busy and sunny weekend. There were a total of 178 drivers competing. There were: 41 Honda Cadets, 41 Junior Rotax, 31 Rotax Minimax, 17 Rotax 177, and 48 Senior Rotax drivers.
Honda Cadet – B Final
The Honda Cadet B Final was won by Luca Holmes-Balac who also held the fastest lap of 55.04 seconds. Luca was purple in sector one and three. Levi Marchardie finished four tenths behind Luca, in second, and Brendan James in third. Levi held joint purple in sector three and also sector two. Eva Morris made the most positions moving from sixth to fourth.
Junior Rotax – B Final
The Junior Rotax B Final was won by Harry Maynard who started on pole position. Harry also held the fastest lap time of 47.33 seconds. Alfie Davies finished in second and Harry Mitchell in third. Alfie and Harry shared purple sectors: Alfie in sector one and two, Harry in sector two and three. Alfie also made up the most positions: 7th to 2nd.
Senior Rotax – B Final
The Senior Rotax B Final was won by Scott Symons who made up two positions in the race. Lewie Weaver finished in second having made up six positions in the race and he also went purple in sector two. Luke Evans finished in third having made up one position and was best in sector two. Another notable performance was Martial Radford who made up five positions.
Mini Rotax – A Final
The Mini Rotax race was won by Ewan Charman who made up one place. Reg Heywood finished in second place having made up five places and Chase Fernandez finished third whilst going joint purple in sector one. The fastest lap was completed by Joshua Camp: 47.66 seconds, he also went purple in sector one and two. Harrison Crowther made up sixteen positions and also went purple in sector three.
Junior Rotax – A Final
The Junior Rotax A Final race was won by Daniel Armstrong who made up one position. Sam Gornell finished in second, also making up one position. Jez Williams finished third and held the fastest lap: 45.96 seconds. Jez went purple in all three sectors. Neo Clarke and Charlie Hart also held joint purple sector two. Harry Linden made the highest
number of positions: eleven places. James Mintoft and Rory Burke both made up ten positions.
Honda Cadet – A Final
The Honda Cadet A Final race winner was Joshua Graham who made up eleven positions and went purple in sector two and three. William Murphy finished in second and Kenzo Craigie in third. Max Endacott made up thirteen places. Leon Hastie and Thomas-Minh Spearing both made up twelve places. The fastest lap was held by Oscar O’Sullivan: 53.90 seconds.
177 Rotax – A Final
The 177 Rotax final winner was Matteo Zanetti who made up one position. The fastest lap was completed by Nathan Chafer: 46.49 seconds. Cole Edwards finished in second and William Roberts in third.
Senior Rotax – A Final
The Senior Rotax A Final was won by Oakley Pryer who made up one position. The fastest lap was held by Ellis Puleio: 44.40 seconds. William Elswood made up three positions to finish in second. Luke Wooder also made up three positions to finish third. A notable drive was made by James Johnson who made up twenty-one positions to finish in fourth
