MKRC Round Five – 25th & 26th September

Round Five of the MKRC Championship took place at Mansell Raceway on the 25th September and the 26th September. Junior Blue and Senior Blue also partook in the Championship Weekend.

Honda Cadet Final

The Honda Cadet Final was won by Freddie Baker who had started on pole position. Ethan Griffiths finished closely behind in second and also held the fastest lap of 55.75 seconds. Eva Morris gained a position to finish off the top three.

Senior Rotax Final

In the Seniors Final, Ethan Ling dominated and won with a  1.03 second lead. Ellis Puleio gained three positions to finish in second position and Sebastien Marlow gained four positions to finish in third position. Luke Evans held the fastest lap time of 46.03 seconds.

Mini Max Final

Scott Marsh dominated the Mini Max Final having started in first position and finishing with a lead of 8.3 seconds. Benjamin Bartlett finished in second position with Steven Barnes finishing in third position. The fastest lap was held by Dalton Haywood with a lap time of 48.62 seconds. Tom Davey completed a notable drive gaining five positions.

Junior Rotax Final

The Junior Rotax Final was won by Finn Smith who gained two positions to finish in first position. Daniel Sawyer finished closely behind in second position and Cameron Crockett rounded off the top three. Jasmine Taylor held the fastest lap of 46.76 seconds.

177 Rotax Final

In the 177 Final, William Roberts dominated the race to finish in first position whilst also holding the fastest lap of 46.84 seconds. Cole Edwards held second position throughout the final and Matteo Zanetti gained two positions to finish off the top three.

Junior Blue Final

The Junior Blue Final was again dominated by Sam Mitchell who held first position to win the final. Mitchell also held the fastest lap time of 50.52 seconds. Rhys Read maintained second position and Jamie Dart gained a position to finish in third place.

Senior Blue Final

In the Senior Blue Final, Cleal again finished in first position having started on pole position. Sylvain Vessier finished closely behind in second position and Russell O’Neill in third position. O’Neill also held the fastest lap time of 50.1 seconds. Michael Bell also had a notable drive gaining five positions.
